If you’re worried about things getting lost in translation, don’t worry because English is widely spoken across Malaysia. But equipping yourself with some bahasa is not a bad idea, and will endear you more to Malaysians. It’s an easy language to pick up once you know the basics, and those can be quickly learnt if you make some local friends.
