The city of Ipoh, in Perak, is famous for its wonderful food (and pretty girls, too) and oftentimes KLites drive down to Ipoh just to indulge in a bowl of duck thigh noodles or Ipoh hor fun (flat rice noodles in a clear broth of chicken and prawn.) Ipoh’s most famous export is the fragrant Ipoh white coffee, made from coffee beans roasted in palm oil margarine.
